Adam Fleming is a Scottish news reporter, best known for his work on CBBC's news programme, Newsround. He also reports for Sportsround and has recently begun appearing as a political correspondent for BBC News.

Early life and career

Educated at Hutchesons' Grammar School Glasgow from 1989 to 1998, as a teenager Fleming had the opportunity to direct productions for the Scottish Youth Theatre, and then went on to Hertford College, Oxford where he studied Geography and edited The Oxford Student newspaper - graduating from Oxford University in 2001, with a first class degree.

He has worked in journalism for The Herald newspaper in Glasgow, The Daily Record and STV, and has been sponsored by BBC News on a postgraduate Diploma in Broadcast Journalism at City University, London.
